Privacy policy

Thank you for your interest in our website. The protection of your personal data during the collection, processing and use on the occasion of your visit to our website is an important concern for us.

1. personal data Personal data is information that can be used to find out your identity. This includes your name, address, postal address and telephone number. Information that is not associated with your identity (such as the number of users of a website) is not included. In principle, you can use our online services without disclosing your identity. When you visit our website or use our services, the device with which you call up the page automatically transmits log data (connection data) to our server. Log data includes the IP address of the device you use to access the website or a service, the type of browser you use to access the site, the page you visited previously, your system configuration and date and time information. IP addresses are only stored to the extent necessary to provide our services. Otherwise, the IP addresses are deleted or anonymised. We store your IP address when you visit our website for a maximum of 7 days in order to detect and defend against attacks. When you request information, order e-books or make other requests, we ask you for your name and other personal information. It is your free decision whether you enter this data. We store your data on specially protected servers of the company Worldsoft AG in Switzerland. The EU Commission has certified that the level of data protection in Switzerland is comparable to that in the EU. Data transfer from the EU to Switzerland is permitted under data protection law. We have concluded an order data processing contract with Worldsoft. Access to this is only possible for a few authorised persons. These are responsible for the technical, commercial or editorial maintenance of the content and servers. If the usage or traffic data is required for our services, it is stored for a maximum of six months after the data has been collected. If the data is required to comply with existing legal, statutory or contractual retention periods (e.g. invoices), this data is also stored beyond this period. However, this data is blocked and only accessible to a few authorised persons via passwords. (show in bold: ) Right to object to data collection in special cases and to direct marketing (Art. 21 DSGVO) If the data processing is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. e or f DSGVO, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time for reasons arising from your special situation; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions. The respective legal basis on which processing is based can be found in this data protection declaration. If you object, we will no longer process your personal data concerned unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the purpose of asserting, exercising or defending legal claims (objection under Article 21(1) of the GDPR). Right to restriction of processing You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. To do this, you can contact us at any time at the address given in the imprint. The right to restriction of processing exists in the following cases: - If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored by us, we usually need time to check this. For the duration of the verification, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. - If the processing of your personal data has happened / is happening unlawfully, you can request the restriction of data processing instead of erasure. - If we no longer need your personal data, but you need it to exercise, defend or assert legal claims, you have the right to request restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of erasure. - If you have lodged an objection pursuant to Art. 21 (1) DSGVO, a balancing of your and our interests must be carried out. As long as it has not yet been determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to demand the restriction of the processing of your personal data. If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, this data may - apart from being stored - only be processed with your consent or for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of an important public interest of the European Union or a Member State.

2. disclosure of personal data to third parties We will only use your personal information for the purposes for which it is used by us. We will not disclose the data to third parties without your express consent. Insofar as we are obliged to do so by law or by court order, we will transfer your data to bodies entitled to receive information.

3. use of cookies Internet cookies are small data packets that are stored by your browser on the hard drive of your computer. We use cookies on our website. Such cookies are necessary to allow you to move freely around the website and use its features, including accessing secure areas of the website. Cookies are also necessary for the function of the shopping basket for shop orders for technical reasons. Most browsers are set to automatically accept cookies. However, you can deactivate the storage of cookies or set your browser to notify you as soon as cookies are sent. 4. protection of minors Children and persons under the age of 18 should not transmit any personal data to us without the consent of their parents or legal guardians.

5. links to other websites Our online offer contains links to other websites. We have no influence on whether their operators comply with the data protection regulations.

6 CRM (Worldsoft Business Suite) and Newsletter This website uses the Worldsoft Business Suite (WBS). The provider is Worldsoft AG, Churerstrasse 158, 8808 Pfäffikon, Switzerland. The Worldsoft Business Suite (WBS) is a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system that can be used to organise and analyse data. When you submit your personal data via a web form or when placing an order, this data is stored on the servers of Worldsoft AG in Switzerland. The EU Commission has certified that the level of data protection in Switzerland is comparable to that in the EU. A data transfer from the EU to Switzerland is permissible under data protection law. We have concluded an order data processing contract with Worldsoft. We refer you to our data protection regulations before the transfer of your data. By transmitting the data, you agree that we may collect, process and use your personal data within the framework of the legal regulations. The purpose of the use is determined by the context in which your data is transmitted. Your data will be used for the purpose for which it was originally collected. Example: If you order a product on our website, your data will be used to create and send the invoice and for any queries. Legal basis The data processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke this consent at any time. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation. Data analysis by WBS WBS enables us to subdivide interested parties and customers on the basis of various categories (so-called tagging). In doing so, the address entries can be subdivided, for example, according to gender, personal preferences (e.g. vegetarian or non-vegetarian) or customer relationship (e.g. customer or potential customer). Storage period The data you have deposited with us will be stored until you revoke your consent. After revocation of your consent, your data will be deleted from our servers as well as from the servers of Worldsoft AG. For more details, please refer to the data protection regulations of Worldsoft AG at: https://www.worldsoft.info/86. Newsletter data The Worldsoft Business Suite (WBS) can be used, among other things, to organise and analyse the sending of newsletters. The data you enter for the purpose of receiving newsletters is stored on the servers of Worldsoft AG. If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we require an e-mail address or telephone number for SMS, as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the specified e-mail address or telephone number and that you agree to receive the newsletter. No further data is collected, or only on a voluntary basis. We use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties. The data entered by you for the purpose of receiving the newsletter will be stored on the servers of Worldsoft AG. The processing of the data entered in the newsletter registration form is based exclusively on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke your consent to the storage of the data, the e-mail address and their use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example via the "unsubscribe" link in the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation. The data you provide for the purpose of receiving the newsletter will be stored by us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and will be deleted after you unsubscribe from the newsletter. Data stored by us for other purposes (e.g. e-mail addresses for the member area) remain unaffected by this. Data analysis by the WBS When we send newsletters with the help of the WBS, we can determine whether a newsletter message has been opened and which links, if any, have been clicked on. The WBS also enables us to divide the newsletter recipients into different categories (so-called tagging). For example, newsletter recipients can be divided according to gender, personal preferences (e.g. vegetarian or non-vegetarian) or customer relationship (e.g. customer or potential customer). In this way, the newsletters can be better adapted to the respective target groups. You can find more information at: https://www.worldsoft-wbs.info/68 If you do not want any analysis by WBS, you must therefore unsubscribe from the newsletter. For this purpose, we provide a corresponding link in every newsletter message. Data stored by us for other purposes (e.g. e-mail addresses for the member area, address details for invoicing) remain unaffected by this.

7 Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. ("Google"). We have concluded an order data processing contract with Google and fully implement the strict requirements of the DSGVO when using Google Analytics. Google uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about the use of the online offer by the users is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google will use this information on our behalf for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. In doing so, pseudonymous user profiles can be created from the processed data. We only use Google Analytics with IP anonymisation activated. This means that the IP address of the user is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The IP address transmitted by the user's browser will not be merged with other data from Google. Users can prevent the storage of cookies by setting their browser software accordingly; users can also prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookie and related to their use of the online offer to Google, as well as the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de. Mobile users also have the option of opting out of the storage of cookies. For more information on Google's use of data for advertising purposes, settings and opt-out options, please visit the Google websites: https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/partners/ ("Data use by Google when you use our partners' websites or apps"), http://www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads ("Data use for advertising purposes"), http://www.google.de/settings/ads ("Manage the information Google uses to serve you ads") and http://www.google.com/ads/preferences/.

8. social media with Shariff module The usual social media plug-ins (displayed as buttons on the website) transmit user data to the social platforms (Facebook & Co) with every page view. Some of these plug-ins give the social networks information about your surfing behaviour in this way. To do this, you do not have to be logged in or a member of the network. We use the Shariff module on our website. A Shariff button establishes direct contact between a social network and you only when you actively click on the Share button. In this way, Shariff prevents users from leaving a digital trail on every page they visit and improves data protection. With the Shariff module, you can like, +1 or tweet - the respective social network does not receive any more information. Google+ plugin Our pages use functions from Google+. The provider is Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Collection and dissemination of information: Using the Google+ button, you can publish information worldwide. Through the Google+ button, you and other users receive personalised content from Google and our partners. Google stores both the information that you have given +1 for a content and information about the page you were viewing when you clicked +1. Your +1s can be displayed as notices together with your profile name and your photo in Google services, such as search results or in your Google profile, or in other places on websites and advertisements on the Internet. Google records information about your +1 activities in order to improve Google services for you and others. In order to use the Google+ button, you need a globally visible, public Google profile, which must contain at least the name chosen for the profile. This name is used in all Google services. In some cases, this name may also replace another name you used when sharing content through your Google Account. The identity of your Google profile may be displayed to users who know your email address or have other identifying information about you. Use of information collected: In addition to the uses described above, the information you provide will be used in accordance with Google's applicable privacy policy. Google may publish aggregate statistics about users' +1 activities or share them with users and partners, such as publishers, advertisers or affiliated websites. LinkedIn Plugin Our website uses functions of the LinkedIn network. The provider is LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Each time one of our pages containing LinkedIn functions is accessed, a connection to LinkedIn servers is established. LinkedIn is informed that you have visited our website with your IP address. If you click the LinkedIn "Recommend" button and are logged into your LinkedIn account, it is possible for LinkedIn to associate your visit to our website with you and your user account. We would like to point out that we, as the provider of the pages, have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by LinkedIn. You can find more information on this in LinkedIn's privacy policy at: https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy. XING Plugin Our website uses functions of the XING network. The provider is XING AG, Dammtorstraße 29- 32, 20354 Hamburg, Germany. Each time one of our pages containing XING functions is called up, a connection to XING servers is established. As far as we are aware, no personal data is stored in this process. In particular, no IP addresses are stored or usage behaviour evaluated. Further information on data protection and the XING Share button can be found in the XING data protection declaration at: https://www.xing.com/app/share?op=data_protection. Twitter Our website uses the "Tweet button" from Twitter. This is a function of Twitter Inc, 795 Folsom Street, Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you use Twitter and in particular the "Re-Tweet" function, Twitter links your Twitter account to the websites you frequent. This is made known to other users on Twitter, in particular your followers. In this way, a data transmission to Twitter takes place. As the website owner, we are not informed by Twitter about the content of the transmitted data or the use of data. You can find out more under the following link: http://twitter.com/privacy You have the option of changing your data protection settings on Twitter in your account settings there under http://twitter.com/account/settings. 9 Plugins and tools DISQUS - comment platform This site uses the DISQUS platform for the comment function, e.g. on blog posts. DISQUS is an online platform for sharing public comments, where users can register and create profiles to participate in conversations with like-minded people and enjoy an interactive experience. When you post comments on blog posts and create a profile for them, you are using DISQUS. This means that your profile data and IP address will be transmitted to this company and stored on their servers in the USA. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transmission. You can avoid this by not creating a user profile with DISQUS. You can find the DISQUS data protection information here: https://help.disqus.com/terms-and-policies/disqus-privacy-policy Google Web Fonts This site uses so-called web fonts from Google for the uniform display of fonts. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into its browser cache in order to display texts and fonts correctly. For this purpose, however, the browser you are using does not connect to Google's servers, but instead accesses Worldsoft's servers in Switzerland. Google does not learn that your IP address was used to access our website. Worldsoft does, however, gain knowledge of your IP address in the course of using the website. The handling of your IP address is described in point 1, paragraph 2 of this data protection declaration. Google Web Fonts are used in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online offers. If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font from your computer will be used. Google reCAPTCHA We use "Google reCAPTCHA" (hereinafter "reCAPTCHA") on our websites. The provider is Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). The purpose of reCAPTCHA is to check whether data entry on our websites (e.g. in a contact form) is made by a human or by an automated programme. For this purpose, reCAPTCHA analyses the behaviour of the website visitor on the basis of various characteristics. This analysis begins automatically as soon as the website visitor enters the website. For the analysis, reCAPTCHA evaluates various information (e.g. IP address, time spent by the website visitor on the website or mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis is forwarded to Google. The reCAPTCHA analyses run entirely in the background. Website visitors are not informed that an analysis is taking place. The data processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting its web offers from abusive automated spying and from SPAM. For more information on Google reCAPTCHA and Google's privacy policy, please see the following links: https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/ and https://www.google.com/recaptcha/int ro/android.html. Google Maps This site uses the map service Google Maps via an API. The provider is Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. To use the functions of Google Maps, it is necessary to store your IP address. This information is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transmission. Google Maps is used in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offers and to make it easy to find the places we indicate on the website. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. More information on the handling of user data can be found in Google's privacy policy: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/. YouTube Our website uses plugins from the YouTube site operated by Google. The operator of the site is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit one of our pages equipped with a YouTube plugin, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. This tells the YouTube server which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to assign your surfing behaviour directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account. YouTube is used in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offers. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. Further information on the handling of user data can be found in YouTube's privacy policy at: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy. 10. contact Company, street, city, country, e-mail Your data subject rights You can exercise the following rights at any time using the contact details provided: - Information about your data stored by us and how it is processed, - Correction of incorrect personal data, - Deletion of your data stored by us, - Restriction of data processing if we are not yet allowed to delete your data due to legal obligations, - Objection to the processing of your data by us and - Data portability if you have consented to the data processing or have concluded a contract with us.
